Our school is situated in a middle-sizedtown in the south-west of Poland called Dzierżoniów. The school educates over 400 students and employs about 40 teachers. The school was founded in 1946 when Polish industry was destroyed by the World War II. Wilhelm Rotkiewicz–the patron of the school - who came here with a group of specialists, pioneers, seeing the devastation, asked the Ministry of Industry in Warsaw for the permission to organize a 3-month-long course for radio technicians which gave the beginning of a secondary school. After the first course finished, the preparations to open the schoolbegan. Human Resources of Ministry of Industry approved the opening of the school on 6 August 1946 and gave it the name "Szkoła Przemysłowa Radiotechniczna" (Radiotechnical Industrial School).
The school is located in two buldings - the first one at 8 Mickiewicza St. and the other one at 5 Konstytucji 3 Maja Sq. The current headteacher is Mr. Aleksander Koszela, and vice-headteacher is Mrs. Ewa Nieroda. There are about 40 teachers and 400 students nowadays. The school trains young people in many modern fields, such as IT, mechanics, mechatronics, electronics and electricity, and it is the only school of this kind in the area. It is on the list of the best technical schools in the Lower Silesia voivodeship. All above mentioned professions are best-paid ones and have a great significance in the modern world.

Most of these students follow an academic career in informatics and programming, language teachinng, medicine, law and justice , economics and many others, in our country as well as abroad.
The school staff has always developed and is still developing various partnership programmes with local, national and international institutions by which students enrich and improve communication, digital, civic and interpersonal techniques and competences, thus rendering them responsible, competitive and self-confident in an ever changing society. This envolvment allows students and teachers alike to learn to be more flexible and tolerant and to feel included in the European community, understanding their role as active citizens responsible for cherishing their own language and cultural heritage as well as embracing the other's similar values. Through the students’ and teachers’ remarkable annualy results in every and each competition we make ourselves better known as an educational institution, both nationally and internatioonally. It is our school policy to be open to new opportunities, to fruitful exchanges that enable us providing our students with equal education opportunities, in our own country and abroad.
Sweden – Vaggeryd
Fenix Kultur - och Kunskapscentrum
Fenix is a school that´s located in the southern Sweden in Vaggeryd. It has about 300 students and we have 16 different programs to choose between and they are college preparatory and vocational programs. We think that our school is good because it has a lot of internship and field studies and also international exchanges which are good because it gives us students the opportunity to build relationships and experiences that can facilitate the transition to work.
Here in Sweden we get food for free in the school because the citizens pay taxes for that and the upper high school is not compulsory for anybody.
Our school consists of two buildings. The main building and “Fenix 2”. The main building was built in 1996 and the second building was built in 2010. The second building is very modern and it has nice views of the nature and the big lake Hjortsjön. In Fenix 2 we have the machines that is used most by the students from the vocational programs but also from the students from the technical program.
