Second meeting - Presov
LEARNING/TEACHING/TRAINING ACTIVITY OF THE PROJECT 3D TECHNIQUES HELD IN STREDNA PRIEMYSELNA SKOLA, PRESOV 2.–6. 12. 2019
PROGRAMME
was made and completed in compliance with the tasks described in the Form of Application:
TEACHING/LEARNING/TRAINING TASKS
- Participants worked 5 days in mixed teams.
- Students learned basics of Arduino programming – part 1, 2 and Python programming needed for aids creation. Lessons were taught by Slovakia students.
- They also underwent course of PCB soldering. Each of them made a small Christmas tree decorated with glowing light bulbs. They were given it as a nice present.
- Assembling of the 2nd aid – unpredictably lot bulbs - was the main part of the programme. Since this product is demanding students printed its components in advance at their schools, completed it during the mobility and successfully finished.
- Another team was working on the electronic dictionary based on the programme Android. They recorded pronunciation of chosen words and finished their job.
- Programme included a lesson of Slovak language. Slovak students taught it in an amusing way, guests were enjoying it. Final questionnaire proved they used some phrases in later communication.
- Teams performed presentations about their schools, towns, countries in a lively way. This extended cultural knowledge about partners countries. Videos made about the 1st mobility in Sweden were projected.
- School tour, excursion in Prešov and all activities were recorded by the video, photos. These records will be processed and presented to schoolmates, the public in mother schools.
- Participants evaluated contribution of the project to their development by questionnaires. (summary is enclosed)
- Teachers informally exchanged methodical approaches to IT teaching.
- Coordinators evaluated previous periods, said the project tasks were fulfilled. They planned the following phase and the mobility in Pardubice where all made aids will be given to children in sanatorium Hamzová.
The last day were all aids displayed – not only those made during the mobility but also in schools between mobility. SL team created electronic labyrinth controlled by legs of children sitting on a chair, electronic obstacle course to practise hand, labyrinth for one hand children and a speaking hand for the def. SW made a labyrinth practising movement of hands. CZ electronic aid with unpredictably lit bulbs. Electronic speaking dictionary was highly evaluated. Its programme Android enables to use it as the mobile application.
ACTIVITIES MADE ABOVE DEMANDS:
- Host arranged a day trip to Slovakia Nationak park. Everyone was impressed by beauties of mountains and the cave Domica decorated with wonderful dripstones. Guests also enjoyed treasures of the castle Betliar.
- Great surprise was a stunning dancing performance of the local students folk ensemble. Some volunteers tried to join the dancers but it was too difficult – these dances need a long practice
- Since the mobility was held at the time of St. Nicholas, hosts invited one with devils and angels. This was very amusing, notably for Swedes who do not keep this tradition.
CONCLUSION
The programme was prepared and realized on a very high level. Project tasks were not only completed but few aids, activities were made beyond the plan.
Participants improved their professional knowledge and skills, learned a lot about their countries, Slovak culture, natural beauties.
Teachers agreed that mobility, collaboration is inspiring, highly motivating for both students and teachers. Students are interested in the project so much that they were working in school until it was locked. They started thinking about aids above the plan.

First meeting - Vaggeryd
LEARNING/TEACHING/TRAINING ACTIVITY OF THE PROJECT 3D TECHNIQUES HELD IN FENIX OCH KUNSKAPSCENTRUM, VAGGERYD 1. – 5. 4. 2019
PROGRAMME
was made and completed in compliance with the tasks described in the Form of Application:
TEACHING/LEARNING/TRAINING TASKS
- Participants worked 5 days in mixed teams.
- Students learned 3D modelling in Solid Works programme while modelling labyrinth controlled by hands.
- This model was printed by 3D printer Průša 2, which was assembled during the previous project D Techniques. Parts of the aid were completed during the 4th day of the activity.
- Participants underwent the lesson of Swedish in which they learned some basic vocabulary and phrases. Since the teaching was made by students learners enjoyed it very much. The record of vocabulary will be made in the international dictionary – one of the project results.
- Host performed presentations about their schools, towns, countries in a lively way. This extended cultural knowledge about 3 European countries.
- Guests presented in an English lesson in which they answered hosts questions about the young´s lifestyle, studies in their countries.
- School tour, excursion in Jonkoping all activities were recorded by the video, photos. These will be processed and presented in mother schools.
- Participants evaluated contribution of the project to their development by questionnaires. (summary enclosed)
- Teachers met at the methodical meeting where they discussed functions of the new type of 3D printer – Průša 3.
- The part was the meeting of coordinators where they evaluated previous periods and planned the following one.
ACTIVITIES MADE ABOVE DEMANDS:
- Mayor of the community informed all guests about the lifestyle in this part of Sweden – numerous companies provide citizens with the job opportunities, political leaders are supported by companies to build new family houses surrounded by natural environment, new kindergartens (3) have been built. The number of newborn babies is increasing.
- Hosts arranged excursion in a huge company producing furniture. The production is mostly automated so students could observe the top of their profession in practice. They also admired pure design of products.
- One afternoon was devoted to funny activities – Swedish game kubb with the Swedish pizza for snack.
SUMMARY
The whole activity was prepared well, with friendly atmosphere. Students learned a lot of their profession and about partners culture.
